Unexpected diagnosis Multiple Myeloma

Hello, my name is Rebecca and my Husband was recently diagnosed at the end of April with multiple myeloma. He was not feeling well for over a week or so, and I finally convinced him to go to the emergency room and found out the protein levels in his blood were high. At that point we have been to several doctors and receive had received the diagnosis. He has been receiving chemotherapy by injections for about 2-3 months now. He was working until about three weeks ago. He started having a lot of muscle spasms and back pain. I again convinced him to go to the emergency room and found out that he has a fracture of the sixth thoracic vertebrae. He has been out of work for three weeks now due to pain. We’re not sure if it’s associated with the cancer or not we are still waiting on scan results. The medical expenses, as well as living expenses are piling up. He has work insurance but not sure how it works if he is on short term disability. We have a 8 year old we are also taking care of trying to make sure nothing affects him. Anything would help keep us from losing housing and falling behind.
