Mural dream for Chiefs Superbowl Champions

Hi! My name is Steven Bohall. I am a 28yr. professional muralist and sign painter, and as a KC native and lifelong Chiefs fan, it has been a dream of mine to paint a mural honoring the Super Bowl IV Champions. With the current success of the Chiefs, and the one-year anniversary of the passing of Len Dawson, I'm committed to celebrating our team. The Chiefs are the only AFC team with 2 SB MVPs from different eras. Len Dawson lived the rest of his life here in KC after retiring from the Chiefs. He is one of our hometown heroes and deserves to be esteemed. Patrick Mahomes has wrapped his arms around KC as well.

It would appear that the original mural idea may have been too large, so I'm switching gears with a different mural at a new location. The new location is right alongside I-70, just east of downtown. The mural is still going to be huge - measuring appx 20x25ft. This is what I propose to put up on the wall and still encapsulates the original goal.

I am reaching out to The Chiefs Kingdom stretched all across America to help be a part of this unrealized need for recognizing our team. My hope is for this mural to be funded by fans alone.

I plan to paint a frame around the mural with the names of the fans who donate $100 or more to this project.

I want very much to accomplish this feat as soon as possible so that as football season kicks off this fall, and our reigning SB champs take the field, this mural will be finished in commemoration. Let's honor the only two SB MVPs from the AFC!!
