Murdock Tire and Auto - HELP US REBUILD

Hi, my name is Brooke Caruthers. As we all know, my father, Jim Caruthers, has lived in Port Charlotte since he was a child. He is the heart of Charlotte County. He is the most generous, honest, and caring man (most of us know). He is always there for his family, friends, customers, and even people he has just met or doesn't know - striving to always help in any way he can. He has operated/owned Murdock Tire and Auto for the past 15 years. Prior to Owning Murdock Tire, he owned Tuffy Auto service and has worked in the community his whole life. Murdock Tire and Auto has served as a safe place for many of us in Charlotte County. Over the years, he has consistently demonstrated loyalty to this town and his customers. He always has and will continue to show how much he cares about his customers and his hometown. My dad has always gone above and beyond, treating anyone like a member of his own family- while consistently providing love and honesty. This is because of all the pride he has in his business and his community. He treats his customers like they are part of his family, making Murdock Tire stand out from all the rest. The shop/my dad has taken care of generations of family vehicles .. from Grandparents to children to grandchildren. This FAMILY business has always been dependable, which won't stop us! Not only do people reach out to him for car service and advice, but they look to him for advice/guidance for just about anything because - Jim Caruthers is always there to help (or knows someone who can). He has a network of friends and colleagues in the industry and always gives out his personal cell to be accessible to all. Jimmy C (as some of you may know him) is the MAN, and now he needs OUR HELP. Hurricane Ian has sadly destroyed our family business and my dad's pride and joy. Murdock Tire and Auto WILL rebuild, and Jim Caruthers WILL continue to be an asset to our community. Please, anything you can do to help him, our business, and our family!!! My dad has no idea we are doing this for him, as he never asks for help!!! Please, anything you can do to help, even if it's just reaching out to him via text to let him know how much he means to YOU. Jim remains strong in spirits, but I know his heart hurts.
