Help bring Murphy home!

We are seeking your support for Alana, James and their beloved puppy, Murphy, who is currently fighting for his life after complications from Pneumonia.

Their lives were turned upside down on Tuesday when Alana and James brought Murphy to the vet (for the third time in 3 days) due to trouble breathing. It was shown his lungs were severely infected and inflamed from the very aggressive Pneumonia. He was quickly rushed to Tufts animal hospital ICU where he is currently intubated and on life support.

The vets are wonderful and he has 24/7 one-on-one care while he is on the ventilator. Alana and James visit him frequently throughout the days and nights and talk to him, and tell him how loved he is. They have spent every night sleeping on the hospital benches to be there for Murphy, and make sure he knows he’s not fighting alone.

For those of you who don't know Murphy, he is the sweetest and most loving (and cheeky!) boy. He's not even 2 years old and the doctors say he is one of the toughest fighters they have ever seen. He is truly a miracle to be hanging on this long, and making the right steps towards a full recovery and every day he gets closer to walking out of the hospital and back to his beautiful home with the yard that they have all just moved into as a little family.

Any financial support and assistance that may be provided will go an incredibly long way to assisting Murphy's fight for survival, with the medical bills already reaching over $50,000.
