Musa & Isra's 5k walk - Pakistan's flood victims

Musa and Isra Kazmi have organised a 5K sponsored walk on Sunday 2nd October 2022 in Hampstead Heath, to raise awareness and money to help the victims of the floods in Pakistan.

The destruction is on a huge scale

- 1/3 of the country is underwater.

- Almost 40million people have been displaced. These are people without food and clean water who are helpless.

- Disease is spreading. Homelessness is common.

- More than 2000 people have died at least 400 being children.

It is devastating and you can all really help make a difference.

When you sponsor us we will be giving the funds to DIL UK Pakistan Flood Appeal where 100% of proceeds will go to flood victims. They are a trusted community who are working tirelessly on the ground and have already supported 400 families in 15 villages. DIL provides food, shelter and help to the school communities in immediate need.

How did this happen?

The floods are a result of devastating unprecedented monsoon rains.

These are a clear consequence of global warming, yet those suffering are not even responsible.
