Music City Boxing - National Tournaments

Music City Boxing is a staple in the local, regional, and national boxing community. Our amateur team competed in over 100 bouts this year from coast to coast, participated in several national tournaments, and achieved major victories.

Notable feats include two Golden Gloves Bronze Medalists - one of which is ranked No. 7 in the nation, a National Qualifier Runner-Up who is ranked No. 3 in the nation, and a National Qualifier Champion who is ranked No. 2 in the nation in two weight classes.

AND STILL...we are not done.

Team MCB will travel to Lubbock, Texas, to participate in the 2022 USA Boxing National Tournament from December 3rd to the 10th. The team will then travel to Searcy, Arkansas, at the end of December for the Regional Silver Gloves Tournament and then to Independence, Missouri, for the National Silver Gloves Tournament in early February.

Our qualified boxers will have four opportunities in 2023 to secure a spot for Olympic Trials next December by competing in March's National Qualifier, May's National Golden Gloves, June's Summer Festival, and November's Last Chance Qualifier. We also plan to compete in the USA Boxing Women's Championships in July.

My team and I graciously ask for donations for these upcoming tournaments. Contributions will go towards travel expenses and other necessary resources to ensure that our boxers are prepared and able to compete to the best of their ability.

We have major goals on the horizon, specifically next year with Olympic Trials and the Paris Olympics the following year. These upcoming national tournaments are significant stepping stones in preparation for what is to come.
