We find ourselves in unfamiliar and unexpected times where many of us are having to self isolate either to recover from the Corona Virus or to ensure that we do not place the most vulnerable at a higher risk by connecting with them. 

Unfortunately, we know that many services have had to stop in order to stop the spread of this virus, but that has also meant that many people will now go without for a while until this is cleared and things are able to resume back to business as usual. 

Since our inception in 2011, we have worked on the grassroots level to support young people in schools and within the community, providing intervention programmes, holiday schemes, mentoring services, music lessons and leadership training in order to provide respite, build confidence and cultivate talents. 
 
We recognise that in order for us to reach more young people and continue to offer more support, we need your help in the form of donations to support us on our continued desire to reach even more young people and their families. The relationships we have forged over the years has kept many of the young people returning to us and utilising our services 

 Administered through MRF,  the monies donated will be used to directly support young people who have a keen interest in working within the music industry or simply to learn an instrument with a personalised service. It will also support the tutors within the music community who are finding themselves in unstable waters due to the stop of their regular incomes from performances and tours. 

Music Relief Foundation (MRF) is a charity (1185747) situated in Croydon, South East London. Young people face numerous challenges but we believe that by working with them through this difficult period in their lives, we can help equip them with the skills they need to navigate through the challenges of their youth and become inspirational leaders of the future.
We aim to provide young people with a strong practical and emotional foundation from which they can grow into healthy, confident, and successful young adults. To achieve this we harness the natural talents of young people - their creativity, their curiosity, and their burgeoning confidence. As our name suggests, we encourage in particular the power of music and the arts to help connect young people to the issues that they care about. We aim to help young people find their own voice within our community and let them be a part of the national conversation around “young people”.

This generation of young people, unfortunately, are battling with several things that are affecting them in diverse ways and we see the manifestation of it through their disruptive behaviors in issues of youth violence, mental health, domestic abuse, county lines, family breakdown, and the likes.

Your help to alleviate boredom and enable the young person to do something positive and productive at this time of social distancing and isolation will go a long way to help us continue to provide our services.
