Music Teacher seeks Kickstart support!
Living on Teacher Retirement System disability since 2009, I have strived to do part-time work as a
church musician and private music teacher. During the CO-VID19 quarantine, I did church music and
teaching online. My health prevents me from
full-time work, and my income is insufficient now. I will not have summer music students as their
school instruments have been taken up. My rent is due, and I cannot pay it. I have sought an extension of my car payment for a month.
As I seek additional work opportunities, I need
help making ends meet through the summer. With careful isolation, prayer, and health care, I have
avoided the C0-VID19. With help to cover monthly expenses, I hope to continue to survive.
Rent is $760 this month, due tomorrow. Car
payment is $291, due now. Medicare premiums are taken out of my pension and mySocial Security, so
those are covered. The amount for which I ask will cover two months of rent andcar payments with
help for utilities and food.
I pray for any help you can offer. I have a rare
disease called Fabry's, which can affect any organ
and which shortens life span. I am receiving the
treatment for it twice monthly, and it helps my
survival. There is no cure. I have lost a kidney and have a heart pacemaker to fight the effects of this disease.
