Music City Rhythm -Youth Basketball

Last year we started an, exciting program for young men in underserved areas. The program consists of an high level travel basketball team and other components that will enhance the lives of the young men that participate in it. The current components are:

High level travel basketball competition & college tours
Financial Literacy
Leadership
Entrepreneurship
Giving
Life Skills

The purpose of the Music City Rhythm program is to teach life lessons to  youth through the game of basketball, while also committing to excellence in academics and leadership. We support this commitment by providing mentoring, entrepreneurship programs, comprehensive athletic training, volunteer opportunities, college campus tours and life skills training.

 •We are committed to developing the skills of our student athletes for the purpose of increasing their opportunities to achieve their goals and dreams. 
•Together with our parents, players, coaches, donors, and volunteers we strive to provide a safe environment with positive youth coaching standards of excellence, enthusiasm and discipline. 
•Our ultimate goal is to help each athlete reach their full academic, athletic and life potential through basketball so that participants of our program become productive members of society!

•Music City Rhythm’s travel team will have access to comprehensive athletic training and the opportunity to compete at the highest level throughout the country.
•As we travel to different tournaments, our goal is to tour the local colleges and expose participants to the different cultural offerings that each city provides.
•We will use teachable moments during practice, travel and game situations to impart life lessons including manhood, spiritual principles and etiquette.

We have the building blocks of a solid program to help create change in the lives of our youth, which will benefit their families, and communities.

We just need your help to make this a reality.

•A lot of these youngsters cannot afford the costs associated with participating in a program such as this, but would benefit greatly from it.  We would also like to expand this program and add other age groups and to young ladies!
•With your support, we can accomplish and exceed our goals by not only benefitting the youth, but also the community as a whole.

We really need your help getting these components off of the ground. There are a lot of fees and expenses that come with participating in these programs and tournaments. We really need help taking care of the program fees, uniforms, equipment, and tournament fees. These tournaments are a great "hook" for the kids to get into a good program and for exposure and opportunity.
