Musicians in Distress
Tax deductible
Our symphony musicians are in distress! The COVID-19 global pandemic has impacted thousands of people around the San Francisco Bay Area. Vallejo Symphony's talented, hard-working musicians earn their livings traveling from orchestra to orchestra, from gig to gig. We, like many other orchestras, have been forced to postpone our upcoming concerts. Faced with area-wide concert cancellations, our musicians have suddenly lost their entire incomes for as long as the pandemic lasts. As a struggling non-profit arts organization, we cannot pay them for concerts that didn't take place.
Won't you help tide over our musicians and their families through this difficult time?
The mission of the Vallejo Symphony Association: To present performances of symphonic music of the highest possible artistic excellence for the citizens of Vallejo and Solano County; to cultivate and nurture the appreciation and enjoyment of classical music in people of all ages; and to serve and shape the musical, cultural, and educational interests of the people of Vallejo and Solano County.
