Musicians Raise Money For Police Accountability
Deducible
Colorado Musicians Organize Donation Initiative asking for legislation reform of Police Accountability - Promote Fundraiser through Music.
We at MHSM feel that it is our duty to do the best that we can with what we have to support our community and contribute to the good of the collective people. During these historical times that are sweeping the world into a state of shock and disbelief, we feel we must do what we can to put our efforts against racial injustice and stand for what is right. We are here to stand up, speak out, raise money, fuel change, rally morale, support the Black Lives Matter movement, and create our future as a human race. Joining The Mile High Sound Movement are artists Lucid Vision and Unlimited Gravity, who have dedicated a new song release to promote this donation initiative. This is our way of contributing to change and using our music to support the good of the community.
“What we’re really doing is sending out a message to the world, or anybody that’s interested in protesting for peace or protesting against any forms of violence” - John Lennon

The Cause: Ending police brutality and holding law enforcement officers accountable for racial violence.
Our cause is to support groups that are working to hold police officers accountable, bring reform and honesty throughout the police system, put a stop to abuse of authority, and end racial injustice.
Raising Money through Music: Throughout history the arts have given an independent platform to the voice of the collective people, and the arts continue to hold that torch today. In the words of Nina Simone “It’s an artist’s duty to reflect the times in which we live”. That is why we have decided to use this single release to promote and bring attention to this fundraiser. In the name of empowering and uniting the community, we are raising money to help support the fight against police brutality and misconduct. The organization we selected to receive our fundraising efforts works to bring this change to the court rooms, built by lawyers who have been fighting for civil rights for over 20 years. We feel this group is deserving of our help… and is working to create change and improve the quality of life for all, so that we all may LIVE LIFE IN PLEASURE.
Funds raised will be donated to the National Police Accountability Project - https://www.nlg-npap.org

A Message from The Artists:
“It’s inspiring to be able to use our music for something more than just ourselves. We are dedicating our song release Live Life in Pleasure to this donation initiative, not only because we feel passionate about the power of the people, but because this is what music is about… Music is about inspiring passion, connection, and synergy in the collective community.” - Lucid Vision
"There are times where it is so blatantly obvious that there are issues in this world so much bigger than ourselves. Right now the world is in pieces and it's a true honor to be able to use our most prized tools to hopefully be able to contribute to change and to the solution. From the bottom of our hearts, we offer a piece of us to you, and in return all we want is to inspire hope, love, and unity within you, and if possible, a donation to this cause that we whole-heartedly support, and that we believe could help make a big difference."
