Mutineers RedBull Soap Box Race 2022

Yaarrghhhh Me Hearties!

We are the Mutineers, and we're building a soapbox and taking part in this year's Redbull Soapbox Race at Alexandra Palace, London, on 3rd July 2022. We plan to turn a boat into a soapbox and make it look like a pirate ship!

Oh, and throw it down a racetrack where it and one of our teammates (yet to be decided) will see just how well we did!

We have decided to raise money for a Leicester-based charity called Action Homeless. We are all Leicester families, and Action Homeless does excellent work in our local areas. More information about them and what they do is below.

Every night of the year, the charity is home to 204 people who would otherwise have nowhere else to go. Where possible we aim to give people and families long term affordable homes from which they can start to rebuild their lives.

We believe it is only when people feel stable and secure in their homes, and when they are able to stop worrying about where they are sleeping from one week to the next, that they can really turn their lives around.
