Mutual Aid Brookline May Fundraiser
Donation protected
Mutual Aid Brookline (MAB) is a community-generated and volunteer-run initiative that connects community members to resources and support, and subsidizes costs when needed. MAB weaves together hyper-local neighborhood initiatives and collaborates with municipal departments and local institutions. MAB is not a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
Since mid-March, MAB has received over 200 donations from community members totaling over $23,000. We are reaching out to spread the word, engage our community, and raise $10,000 in the month of May. To help us reach our goal, please donate!
Your contributions will provide financial support through the MAB Community Fund. The Community Fund is designed to provide financial assistance to members who need help paying for rent, groceries, childcare, medications and other expenses.
-MAB has distributed over $12,500 to community members
-Paid for 94 grocery deliveries (6-11/day)
-Connected five families to consistent childcare while covering the costs of 30 hours per week of childcare for two Brookline families.
All of our expenses are public and can be viewed here .
If you are unable to make a financial contribution, there are many other ways to get involved! We're organizing a Speaker Series of Brookline natives and residents to share their knowledge and expertise with the community. If you'd like to contribute your time, experience and perspective, or know someone who would be great for this, please email Annabel Cox at [email redacted].
