A respected Hopi elder and community leader needs our help
“I am so grateful for all who cross my path and so blessed to create relationships.” - Grandmother Perci
Grandmother Perci is currently in serious, time-sensitive need of mutual aid and support as her husband Bryson is battling late-diagnosed cancer and navigating astronomically high medical bills they are trying to pay to be able to access lifesaving care for him.
Will you please take a quick moment right now to make a contribution in support of mutual aid for Grandmother Perci and her family?
Every dollar donated will go directly to Grandmother Perci and her husband Bryson for his medical care and their moving/housing costs.
And why do we mention moving costs? This difficulty is occurring as the family also navigates housing challenges as a result of Bryson’s worsening health that resulted in a recent fall which caused him to break his femur and to have to leave their second-floor housing as he could no longer manage the stairs.
Because of these issues, Grandmother Perci and Grandfather Bryson are being forced to move out of their current home and to find new housing in a first-floor apartment by October 23rd while simultaneously navigating thousands of dollars of unplanned medical bills for cancer care.
This woman and her family have given so much to the community and right now they need our help. Please join me in donating and giving back tonight and sharing this with any friends or family you think might have interest.
Thank you so much! Every dollar and every share makes a difference!
And for those who would like to get to know Grandmother Perci better, you can view a brief segmented portion of one of her interviews from the documentary Indigenous Prophecy Today here where she shares her wisdom, not only for the youth, but for all of us xoxo
And how do I know this wonderful human?
Grandmother Pershlie Ami Hopi-Tewa Walpi, Arizona Sand Clan “Dawa mana”( Hopi name) has been a friend and mentor to me and to so many, a phenomenal leader in her community, recognized by organizations like the Women’s Federation for World Peace for her transformative peace-building work in First Nation communities, and who has been graciously willing to share her time and knowledge with countless others around the globe working toward peace. And right now she needs our help, thank you for joining in this community mutual aid effort for her and her family!
