Mutual Aid for QT Organizer (rent, bills, meds)

Prior to the last few months, a lot of folks did not know what the Palestinian struggle was about, and in large part just assumed it was simply a question "conflict" between 2 states far away. A "conflict" that has nothing to do with people in other countries, because it presumably did not affect them. Now, folks are being educated on the colonization of Palestine - the displacement, the dispossession, the ethnic cleansing, the genocide, the apartheid, all of it. The reason people are able to learn about this is due to the endless efforts of Palestinians - both in occupied Palestine and the diaspora - who, despite the trauma and heartbreak, are working and organizing tirelessly to educate us, and ultimately, to change the status quo.

One of these people is a QT Palestinian friend of mine - someone who carries the weight of intergenerational trauma caused by the violent colonization of their homeland - which, needless to say, takes its toll on one's mental health - and who is working in precarious conditions. Due to recent events, they had to put this already precarious work on hold to go all-in on organizing in their struggle for justice for and liberation of Palestine. This, of course, means that they do not have a secured income. As such, I am making this GofundMe to make sure this friend is able to eat, pay their bills, and their rent alongside meds and mental healthcare, while they focus on the more urgent priority of organizing for and educating on their cause.
