Daymon Utterback - Hurricane Ian Recovery

Donation protected
Our dear colleague and friend, Daymon Utterback, loved Fort Myers Beach. He was happiest when entertaining friends and family (particularly his grandchildren) in and around Fort Myers Beach. Daymon was known as the “pirate of the beach” where he participated in the Fort Myers Beach Pirate Festival and was a beloved member of the “pirate community”.

Daymon was also a skilled machinist. He joined EVERAXIS USA (formerly, Aeroflex) on October 31, 2011 and was a valued member of the Machine Shop in his role as Slip Ring Machinist. Daymon made everyone feel welcome and acted as a mentor to many colleagues over the years.

On September 28, Hurricane Ian devastated Fort Myers with unprecedented storm surge and 140 miles an hour winds. Daymon perished in the storm surge that took over his cherished home on Fort Myers Beach.

We have started this Go Fund Me account in honor of Daymon to help his fiancé, Theresa Conway, who not only lost Daymon, but also lost her home and possessions in the deadly storm that took Daymon’s life. We humbly request that you share this link with friends and family who might be willing to assist.

We thank you for your support.
