Funeral Expenses for Ahkil Heyward

Life is a glorious gift that should be cherished by the living and remembered for those who have transitioned onward. However, it is inevitable that no matter how wonderful or sorrowful the journey through life may be, it will eventually come to an end and we too must transition onward.

It is in times like these when someone’s journey has come to an end that we pause to reflect on the one who has gone before us and to remember that life is a gift. Let us acknowledge the life and cherish the memory of this one light that has dimmed - gone too soon.

Ahkil Louis Heyward “Kil” known as Ben Frank on Facebook was MURDERED on Wednesday, March 16th, 2016 in front of his girlfriend, mother, and father. God willing they were not all killed by this heartless individual. His father is still in the hospital at this time recovering from his injuries. Ahkil was never given a chance and was killed by a fake friend. He was his mother's only child and now she is a childless mother. Love of his life, Charmaine, is now without her best friend. His family is without their son, grandson, brother, cousin, nephew, and friend. His godchildren are without their Godfather. His Westlake friends will not be the same without him.

His mother, girlfriend, and our family were not prepared for him to leave, as at this young age and at the time of his death he did not have life insurance. We are in financial need to help with covering Ahkil’s funeral expense. Sylvania Funeral Home, Inc. is doing everything they can to help offset some of the cost.
