Dear Beloved,
Our dear Stephen Muzzonigro, “MUZZY,” brother, and friend, started experiencing odd neurological symptoms in late September. A CT scan and MRI revealed a 3.5 cm brain tumor. Stevie underwent emergency brain surgery to remove it, and the procedure went extremely well. In classic Stevie fashion, he hiked to the top of Runyon Canyon less than a week after having his skull opened up! However, things came back to earth when the results of the tumor biopsy showed a new challenge: a rare and aggressive type of brain cancer.
We’re optimistic and already see him vibrant and Victorious! Muzzy has led an extraordinarily healthy and positive lifestyle. We are confident that his unique physical and spiritual abilities, in combination with his fiery soul and his close community, will all help propel him up and over this condition. The abundant love and support of his friends and family are richly welcomed and essential during this time!
Doctor’s Orders: Stevie has agreed to specific, highly-focused radiation therapy (starting soon) and daily chemotherapy, done simultaneously, to clear his system. He’s also been on a very specific diet, recommended by some of the world's leading Naturopathic doctors, to prepare his internal terrain specifically for his healing journey.
Passion for Service: Stephen’s precious heart and energy have brought love and light to so many lives, and he would love, love, love to continue to serve others and in a bigger way than ever. He feels that he has so much more to give, and perhaps what is transpiring now is preparing him for just that.
We are Assembling a Support System: It’s come to our attention that there are several vital remedies that have incredible potential to aid his healing, and they are outside of his insurance coverage.
