Cheer for Mentally Ill Kids

Dear friends and family,

I’ve recently learned firsthand that there are young patients hospitalized in the Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Unit at Mt. Sinai/St. Luke’s hospital who rarely receive visitors. They are depressed, suicidal or experiencing other mental health crises, and they’re lonely and scared.

I want to brighten the lives of these children and teens by purchasing holiday gifts for them. I’ll be buying toys, puzzles, games and books, as well as toiletries and clothes. If I raise enough money, I’ll also buy token thank you gifts for the amazing staff working on this Unit.

Many of you have asked how you could help my family and me in the past few months, and I haven’t had a response.  This is it.  Please help me help these kids.
