Fight for Lisa

The year 2020 was a hard year for everyone. In the past, our family has had the privilege of supporting many causes. This cause is particularly near and dear to us.

Our dear friend, Lisa Pensabene, was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Breast Cancer. Lisa being the strong and independent woman she is, never asks for help and continues to search for ways to serve and give to others. We created this page for her, because we want her to know that she is not alone. We want her to concentrate on her health and ease her financial concerns.

Some know Lisa as the "Dog Whisperer". Others know Lisa as the woman who is always on the go. She has spent years as a dog walker, pet sitter, and when the pandemic hit and people stopped leaving their homes, she saw an opportunity to help others by driving for DoorDash and Instacart. Unfortunately, chemotherapy has started to sap her energy, restricting her mobility, and further limiting her income capabilities. In addition, she has been informed the cancer spread to her jaw and her oral surgeon has estimated that she will require close to $40,000 of reconstructive surgery.  Throughout it all, she continues to keep her faith close, maintain her sense of humor, and flash her omnipresent smile.

Please support her and her family, by helping with any medical costs (doctor appointments, treatments, transportation to varied Sloan Kettering sites, etc.) necessary to get through this.
