Officer battling Stage 5 CKD as he waits on transplant

Donation protected
Hi everyone,
My name is Alissa. My husband Jonathan was diagnosed with Stage 3 Chronic Kidney Disease when I was pregnant with our second daughter in January 2022. The doctors referred us to the MUSC transplant team in Charleston later that year. The doctors originally seemed hopeful he would be able to receive a kidney/pancreas transplant before the need for dialysis. He was officially placed on the transplant wait list in March of 2023. However, his health has continued to decline since. He now has Stage 5 Chronic Kidney Disease and has had to start the process for peritoneal dialysis. He has had to be out of work as a Police officer due to surgery for his catheter placement, medical appointments and dialysis training. Any donations would be greatly appreciated as it will help us pay for regular bills and medical expenses. We would also appreciate prayers for our family as we go through this difficult time in our lives. Thank you.
