The Badgett Family
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Billie and I’m the niece of Buddy and Beverly (also known as Mrs. Badgett) people sometimes don’t want to accept help because of to much pride and’s many people have asked how they could help or if there was a way to donate. Some may know and some may not but several months ago Uncle Buddy was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. After his first chemo treatment he had a bowel rupture and sent him to the hospital for emergency surgery and he was there for several weeks. Beverly had not been at her job long and was trying to work and be a caregiver. As if this wasn’t enough, Friday morning Aunt Bev left her home to run a few quick errands and to get back home before Buddy would awake. As she was sitting on the highway waiting to turn into her road out in front of her home a tandem truck came over the hill and ran into the back of her car. This was their only family car that look them to the appointments and work. The car was totaled but the worst was Aunt Bev was taken by ambulance and then flown to Evansville to have emergency surgery on her neck and back. She was left with 4 broken vertebrae and 3 broken ribs. She is in the hospital healing, sad and confused. Uncle Buddy is being cared by friends right now but they are going to have to have caregivers, bills, food and gas well…just everything to help them during these times. Due to Aunt Bev not being at her job long she has used up all of her days and if on a. On-paid leave. So anything you can do to help would be appreciated. All funds go straight to her account.
