In Memory of Tonia Gary

As all of you know, my niece and nephew lost the only parent they had left yesterday. God called one of his angels home, breaking the hearts of her family, friends and most especially her 4 beautiful children. Tonia Gary had the biggest heart and smile of anyone I know, and the idea of never seeing it again is just unimaginable. Anyone who knew Tonia knows that her generosity and kindness were endless. Whether it was a ride, a meal, a babysitter, or a place to stay, she never said no to anyone that needed a helping hand, and gave it to them willingly with a laugh and a smile. She was such a positive person who encouraged all those around her to be their best and the love she gave, and inspired, will live long after her.

Tonia’s greatest joy came from her children Tati, Laz, Tonio, and Cialia. The love she showered on them was endless and words of their successes and her pride in them, were always on her lips. She had every right to be proud, because each of them are so strong and amazing.



With that said, the amount of support offered from the community, extended family, and all of her friends during this trying time is amazing. Everyone wants to help, and this is an outlet to allow that. This happened too soon and was so unexpected, any financial help the family could receive to pay for funeral costs and to celebrate Tonia’s life would be greatly appreciated. Anything raised above and beyond these costs would help get her little ones here from Florida to say good bye to their Momma and be with their siblings. Any other money would go directly to help support the children.
