Help Esamay Heese's Family in Their Time of Grief

On Saturday, October 19, 2024, 12-year-old Esamay Heese passed away after being struck by a car on W. 13th St in Wichita, Kansas. This child's sudden and unexpected death has shattered the family and left them in need of community support in order to give Esamay her proper funeral arrangements.

As many of you know, Esamay is the daughter of Dusty Lehman and stepdaughter of his wife Jennifer Lehman. Those that know Dusty and Jennifer know that they will do anything in their power to help a friend in need. This is the time that the community comes together and shows Dusty and Jennifer the same respect during this tragic situation.

Esamay meant the world to Dusty. It would not be far-fetched to say Esamay was his world. It comes with no surprise that Dusty is devastated following the loss of his beloved daughter. The loss of Esamay has had a huge impact on all of her family members and left a void that may never be filled.

With Esamay during the accident was her sister Lydia. The two sisters were extremely close. One cannot even imagine the trauma that will follow Lydia for years to come and the family wants to remind people to keppp her in your thoughts as well.

Esamay was known as incredibly outgoing, charismatic, and funny. She was a little girl with an incredibly big heart who loved animals, adventures, shopping, and being an overall goofball. She deeply treasured all of her friendships and made some of her strongest friendships with her siblings. This is a tragic loss for all who knew her and truly wanted to see the good that would blossom from Esamay's overwhelming potential.

As of now, final burial and funeral plans have not been finalized. It is simply just too soon after this tragedy for these plans to be pulled together. All money from this campaign will go directly to the family for anything they may need to get them through this tragedy as easily as possible.
