HOME-START

Home-Start is a local community network of trained volunteers and expert support, helping families with young children through their challenging times. They are there for parents who need support the most because childhood cannot wait.

Tubman House at Leighton Park School have decided to work closely with Home-start as it is a charity which can have a direct impact on our local families. A number of Leighton Park students will be running in the Reading Green Park Challenge on Sunday 2nd April to raise money for the Home-Start. We are also looking forward to welcoming Home-Start to Leighton Park in the summer term to speak to Tubman House.
