Help Jackie Fight Breast Cancer

My name is Amy Cantwell. On September 19, 2015, my dear friend Jackie was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma breast cancer. She was in shock when she got the results from the biopsy because there is no history of breast cancer in her family and she exercises daily and keeps a healthy diet. Unfortunately, Cancer has no boundaries and people are affected every day by this disease. It is obviously very difficult to be confronted with this diagnosis, and to add to that stress, there are financial difficulties to overcome.

Which leads to the reason I'm building a gofundme campaign. While Jackie's insurance covers many of her procedures, she is still going to be left with a large number of medical bills. That, coupled with being an hourly paid worker who will not be paid whilst not working for 4-6 weeks after surgery, compounds the financial misery. Going through cancer treatment is stressful enough without worrying about the financial aspects as well.
