MX3 Needs Our Help
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Lisa and I am starting this fundraiser on behalf of my friend, Glenn, owner of MX3 Fitness. Last week, his private gym in the Castro flooded, shutting down all operations in what was supposed to be the busiest month of the year.
Anyone who knows Glenn and his husband, Dave, knows they are the first people to show up and rally behind people when they are down. From the moment I met Glenn, he has extended himself way beyond just a neighboring business owner--he has become a friend, mentor, cheerleader, and one of my biggest supporters. During the pandemic, Glenn and Dave created a coalition to unite the city's fitness studios--a move that helped countless gyms in the city, including my own. Now they need our help.
This is especially painful timing, as inclement weather will likely delay the repairs, preventing MX3 from reopening for the foreseeable future. We hope to raise enough money to help cover the cost of repairs and also support the trainers' lost wages while the business is closed.
More than anything, I hope this fundraiser accomplishes the mission of showing Glenn how loved and valued he and his business are to our Castro community. Even the smallest donation is a huge encouragement--we need Glenn to keep his head up and his business open.
If you are unable to donate, you can help in the following ways:
- Sharing this link to your socials
- Purchasing memberships/classes/workouts at their Mission and Lower Haight locations
- Reach out to [email redacted] to inquire about other ways to show your support
