Let me start by thanking you for viewing my situation.
On Feb.11, 2020, 10 days after my 43rd birthday, I was diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma. Though we are currently in the very early stages of detection, there is a possibility for surgery but radiology and chemotherapy treatments are inevitable. This is a difficult but manageable situation however, I had just beaten medical turmoil mere months before this diagnosis was delivered. I have had 3 major head surgeries in the last 10 years. (mastoidectomy surgeries for removal of cholesteatoma growth). I am left completely deaf in my left ear with significant balance issues.
My life is full of support from my friends and family but I can never seem to make it off a stretcher for more than a few moments. Many treatments are covered by Medicare but I incur further costs in travel, lodging, meals and the inability to go to work for months at a time.
This GoFundMe campaign will help alleviate the financial burdens as my family watches me push through another serious illness. Any assistance is greatly appreciated. In the coming months, a fundraiser will be held at the local level.
