Mxy life saving treatment
Donation protected
My cat, Mxy, is currently in the hospital being treated for a bladder obstruction due to feline urinary tract disease. If his expenses are covered, Mxy is expected to make a full recovery. But his condition is life threatening, and if we are unable to treat him soon the most humane option is to put him down. The difference between a decade of longer life and having him euthanized is lack of funds.
I was gifted Mxy via the Cat distribution system(he showed up at my doorstep). He was emaciated and infested with fleas at the time. It's been nearly two years and hes been thriving ever since we adopted him. He absolutely adores people. He is quite a charming cat and has the ability to convert anyone into an instant cat lover. I am absolutely devastated he is going through this.
Due to the fact that he is likely to make a full recovery, I am doing everything in my power to get the money to treat him. In my experience, a handful of dedicated cat lovers can make a huge difference. If you are unable to help all I ask is that you share this page so that it may find someone who is eager to help. Good people know good people. It goes without saying of course, anything helps.
The current goal is based on expected medical expenses but he may recover sooner and require less treatment in which case I will update. His ER visit is expected to come to about $2000 and his surgery will likely cost between. $1000-$1500. This is all allocated towards emergency medical expenses and I will be providing documentation as it is provided to me.
Please help me save my cat. This is the part where I appeal to your humanity and good faith. I love this cat so much its remarkable. He makes everyone he meets so happy. And he's finally in a home where he being truly taken care of. I just want him to have more time to live the life he deserved from the start. All it takes is a few people to believe that his life is worth it.
Update: Mxy is doing better and may be able to leave the ER by the end of today! Will update soon! Thank you for your support!
