Hello my name is Tabatha Brooks. My 3 year old daughter Hope Levesque has been sick for months. I brought her to many hospitals and doctors with numerous symptoms. Symptoms started with what seemed like constipation. Then the pain in her head, stomach and feet set in. Then she started vomiting all the time. She stopped eating and drinking. She was loosing weight. She wasnt getting off the couch anymore. Then the left side of her body stopped working. There was no mobility in her left arm and little to none in her left leg. With all these symptoms I brought her to the doctors over and over. But they just kept telling me these things where do to her constipation and refused to do any testing. They literally made me sit by as I watched my little girl dwindle away. Seeing her in so much pain was the most horrible thing I have ever gone throw in my life. But thankfully on May 28th I rushed Hope to a hospital in Dover NH where they finally decided to do some testing. They tested her blood her blood work came back normal. They gave her a cat scan and came back with the most horrible news a parent could get. They told me your daughter has a brain tumor and needs to be transported now to Boston. With in a half hour we where on the way. I held my baby tight the whole way praying to God to help us. When we made it to Mass General in Boston. The doctors told me Hope needed emergency surgery to save her life. The tumor was 3 inches in size and had push her spinal to the left side of her brain, and that spinal fluid was leaking into her brain. They said the swelling in her brain was so bad that she could die in hours or maybe minutes. This was the most heartbreaking moment of my life. They took Hope away and started the surgery. Waiting seemed like a life time. But when they where done they told me they believe they got the whole tumor. The tumor is called a High Grade Glioma. So even with surgery and the whole tumor being removed we still have a war to win. My little girl will be starting radiation and chemo by June 30th. All her treatments will be in Boston and we have been told we have to stay there due to Hopes treatment and Health. I myself am a soul provider to both of my daughters and due to Hopes health have had to take a leave of absence from work. So I am asking for help from the public to keep us together well Hope goes throw her treatments. Thank you in advance for any help you are willing to offer. Please pray for my girl God knows we need all the prayers we can get.
