OBITUARY

Destiny Lee Hardy was born Tuesday July 11, 2023 to parents Denzel Gibson and Sommer Lee Hardy.

Destiny was a child truly loved to all who came into her presence. To be only 4 months old she had an infectious smile to those who were always willing to hold her. A beautiful baby girl who touched so many lives in such a brief time.

There was a different ambiance when she was in a room. Destiny's mom, Sommer, loved dressing her up in all her little girly outfits and her Dad, Denzel, called her his Little Mama. She was a joy to her entire family and everyone loved holding and cuddling her. The family took joy in teasing Sommer on how little Destiny was her daddy’s twin even though her nickname was SJ (Sommer Junior).

Destiny was dedicated to our Lord and Savior on Sunday November 19, 2023. Destiny’s memory lives on through the love she shared with her family. Destiny leaves to cherish her memory by her loving parents Denzel Gibson and Sommer Hardy; big brother Kobe Gibson; grandparents, Brenda Buck, Kenneth Hardy, Andrea Canty, John Gibson; great grandparents, Elaine Webb and Dr. Lucille West-Watson; Godparents David Moore and Leticia Williams.

Although, Destiny is now with her great-grandparents who preceded her in death Roger & Charon Buck, great-grandfather Kenneth Hardy Sr. and great-great grandparents William and Willie Mae West, her spirit continues to resonate within the hearts of Laila Buck- Adams, Kennedy Hardy, Levi Hardy, Dorian West, Qwentin Hicks, Tyler Martin, Jordyn Russel, Kila Gibson, Kaleb Gibson, Bryant Strickland, Najala Humphrey, the Gibson family , the West family, the Buck family, the Hardy family, the Adams family, the English family, the Love family, and the Owen family
