My amazing friend Duana needs help ASAP

Hi friends its me, Missi.

Zooey, my daughter, and I met Duana and her gorgeous amazing family a few years ago at Knotts Berry Farm. We spent the whole day together laughing and goofing around and just having the best time. We have been friends and pen pals ever since.

Duana is a goddess. She has two young sons, Hamza who's 9 and Lalo who's 8. She also is raising her two brothers Emit who's 19 and Eric who's 15 since her mother passed away from Cancer. She is married to an amazing man, Hakim. They are some of the most genuine lovely people you will ever meet.

They took an incredible trip last year to Africa for several months and explored and saw family and had all kinds of extraordinary adventures. On the trip, Duana noticed something on her breast and thought it was just some kind of a bite or skin condition.

A year later, what she thought was some kind of skin condition that didn't go away, turned out to be stage 3 breast cancer. She has been in chemo for 3 months and doing well. However, recently, her chemo has been halted because her white blood cell count is too low. Her white blood cell count is under 800 and it has to be 100,000 + for her to continue chemo or she will be open to all kinds of infections.

Duana needs 8 rounds of a shot called Zario to continue chemo, which will boost her white blood cells and make it so she can continue her chemo. treatments. Her insurance is denying payment because they are saying it is an "add on" and not part of her initial treatment. Gah. She needs the shots right away.

Once she has the 8 shots she can take them one day apart and continue chemo.
