My beautiful niece Pip

Hi, I'm Loopy and I am raising funds to help my beautiful niece Pip, who has been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. It is a rare disease called ALK-positive lung cancer. It seems to affect younger patients, and people who have never or rarely smoked. As Pip has stage 4 she is being treated with oral drugs. It is important to keep in mind that these drugs are not a cure for lung cancer but will hopefully keep it at bay for now, in the hope that more treatments become available.

Pip, Ed and Lettie their little girl who is two and a half, moved to Australia in October to start their new lives in a beautiful place, everything to look forward to and then six weeks ago the devastating news was confirmed. Their world has now been turned upside down. I am raising money so that Pip does not have to worry about having to give up her job. She is looking into alternative treatments as well as conventional ones. She wants to go to meditation classes and has consulted a nutritional therapist to try and help her eat the right foods to fight the disease. She will have to make frequent trips to the hospital and Childcare for Lettie. All of these things add up.
