My name is Mark Eytcheson. I have been a single father of my son and now a single father of both my son and daughter.
My daughter Bella was in a horrible car crash with her mother in South Carolina on Christmas night. I was not informed about the details of the accident untill I received a phone call from South Carolina Child Protection Services in late April. Yes, APRIL!
I was informed that her mother was intoxicated and under the influence of drugs. My daughter Bella was also not wearing a seat belt.
The results of the crash left Bella with several broken bones in her leg.
I received a photo of Bellas leg and was shocked on the conditions of the wound that was still present on her leg from Christmas.
I drove directly to South Carolina from Euless Texas to pick up Bella and bring her home to get the proper treatment that she needed.
Her first doctor'sappointment, I was told that her leg was infected. I was scheduled to bring her back 2 days later. That day, she was rushed to surgery and admitted to the hospital for IV antibiotics and scheduled to have multiple more surgeries to try and clear the infected leg and bone. If the infection can not clear by antibiotics and surgeries. Amputation will be the only solution.
I cant and will not leave the front doors of this hospital unless my daughter is walking beside me holding my hand.
I will be out of work for a while so any kind of support will be a blessing.
Thank you!
