My beloved dog was attacked by a pitbull

Thank you for all your contributions. Every single dollar sent is positive energy and love for which we are grateful, both my family and our little dog Cookie.

I believe in people and I know that together we can achieve a lot and even more. She fought, we fought, and now you fight with us – we can do it!

By the way, we would like to thank our neighbor who helped us rescue our dog and all the people who provided us with encouragement and support throughout this whole time. Additionally, a huge thank you to the entire team at the animal hospital for saving our dog's life – thank you!

My 13-year-old son is describing the tragic events that occurred in front of our house:

''I'm reaching out to you for help after my dog was viciously attacked by a pit bull during our daily walk. It was a traumatizing experience that left my poor dog with broken bones and critical injuries. I'm heartbroken and desperately need your support to cover the expensive medical bills for my furry friend.

The attack happened when I was walking my dog in my neighborhood, just returning from school. Suddenly, a pitbull charged toward us, attacking my dog without mercy. It was a horrifying experience, and I felt completely helpless as I watched the pitbull bite and lift my dog multiple times.

Despite the efforts of myself, my parents, and our neighbor, the pit bull would not let go of my dog. After a long, tragic fight, we managed to finally free my dog from the pit bull's jaws, leaving her with severe injuries. My mom had to rush both my dog and herself to the hospital. To top it off, the pitbull could have suddenly attacked me, my parents, or anyone, leaving in one or possibly more human deaths and severe injuries.
