My best friend's son is now an orphan. Please Help

I have mixed feelings about “Go Fund Me” campaigns. But I believe with all my heart this situation requires it. As many of you know, one of my closest childhood friends, Tony Pinho, passed away suddenly last week. Those who knew Tony would tell you he was one of the sweetest, most caring, selfless human beings they’d ever known – which makes his passing that much more hurtful. But the most heartbreaking thing from Tony’s death, is the fact that he leaves behind his 13-year-old son, Landon. No child deserves what Landon has been through the past year.

Not only did Landon lose his beloved father unexpectedly, but he also lost his dear mother, unexpectedly, a year ago as well. Landon has no siblings. He has only his amazing uncles, aunts, and his precious grandparents, to look after him. By the grace of God, they will do everything in their power to provide for Landon and ensure he lives a normal and happy life as possible. But the fact remains Landon will face this world, which can be cruel at times, alone.

Landon is a GOOD kid, who’s never been in trouble, and has always gotten straight As in school. His favorite subject is history, as his curious mind loves learning about the past and world events. Landon is a shy, well-mannered, reserved individual. But while he may be quiet, if you earn his trust he’ll open up and consider you a friend by hanging out with you. As with most kids his age, he loves video games, TikTok, and super-hero movies, with Spider-Man being his favorite. He also has a dog named Brooklyn, with the two of them loving each other tremendously.

We hope to use the money gained from your charitable donations to invest in a college fund for Landon. Any contribution made cannot be thanked enough, and we will never forget your support and kindness. And for those who are unable to give, that’s completely ok too. We only ask that you keep Landon in your thoughts and prayers and to send him positive energy as he navigates through life.
