Y'all. I have grown so much as a person because of my relationship with Noah.
He's taught me to be gentle with myself, to communicate through discomfort, and he entertains my antics on the daily.
Top surgery is real expensive and I would be so grateful if you would contribute to or share this fundraiser so that I can help Noah step further into himself as he continues to hold space for me to grow into my best self.
All told, with travel and lodging, it's going to run us about $12,000. We are hoping for $7,100 to cover initial surgery fees.
Noah is an advocate and educator in so many ways and always leads with vulnerability, using his own experience to offer validation to others in the LGBTQ+ community. Part of his experience involves moving through the world with binders to combat his dysphoria.
While binders have been so affirming and helpful in many ways for Noah's mental health, they are also very restrictive and uncomfortable, particularly as he has asthma. Because of the constriction, they can sometimes lead to intense panic attacks and anxiety.
Top surgery will be a life-changing procedure for him as it will allow Noah the freedom to literally breathe and also to experience his body in a way that feels true and authentic to who he is.
