My Black Swan Songs (Debut Album)

I’m thrilled to announce that we’re just months away from the release of my debut album, My Black Swan Songs! This collection of 15 songs for voice and piano has been a labor of love, and I can’t wait to share it with you.

My Black Swan Songs highlights topics that are often considered taboo, yet are felt & experienced by so many singers—topics that deserve to be discussed. It’s a deeply personal work, born from my own struggles and triumphs. The album delves into issues like chronic illness, mental health, long Covid, miscarriage, parenthood, sexual harassment, the feeling of being silenced, scars, and the death of a parent with themes of pain, hope, resilience, and tenacity woven throughout. These experiences—though difficult—have shaped me into the singer and artist I am today. I believe celebrating these raw and real moments will make us not only better singers, but better humans. The more we can de-stigmatize these difficult topics and empower ourselves to speak openly about them, the healthier our industry—and our art—will become.

I wouldn't be able to bring this work to life without the incredible team of collaborators I’ve had the honor to work with—four talented composers, a brilliant librettist, and immanently a phenomenal pianist. They’ve all poured their hearts into this project, and it’s only right that they receive the compensation they truly deserve for their time, talent, and dedication.

In addition to compensating my team, there are many behind-the-scenes costs involved—studio time, mixing, mastering, album artwork, touring, and promoting the album. It’s a lot to manage, and that’s why I’m reaching out to you.
