My brother, David and his family could use some help.

Some of you may recognize this guy. He may be known as David Wood or Dave Wood to you, but more likely you know him as “Woody”. I call him my brother. He is a funny guy, was a hard working guy, and would do anything to help someone. David has been fighting health issues since 2017 when he had 2 strokes and 2 TIA’s and has not been able to work.
In January, he began having issues with coughing and choking on food. Last month he had a biopsy of a lump found in his throat. Last week he was diagnosed with stage 4 throat cancer and also has spots on his lung and kidney. This week he will undergo a tracheostomy because his airway is partially blocked by the tumour in his throat. His wife Janet, who is a PSW, has been the sole provider and now she is unable to work due to needing to care for David. She has just cashed in her RSP but that will only last for so long. On top of caring for David, Janet has also been going to appointments with another family member. They do not own a vehicle and therefore my sister has been driving them to appointments. There will be many trips to Kingston, time off work for Janet, meals, medications and inevitably palliative care services that will be required. I am asking for you to please help them in their time of need. Any little bit you could donate would be greatly appreciated by myself, my sisters, Sherri Pearce, Cathy Wood and my Mom, Carole Bourret and of course, David and Janet.
Today's update, May 23rd, David's birthday.
David did not have the trach put in today. They met with tons of Doctor's. The plan going forward is have the mapping done and then radiation. They will also schedule a biopsy of his lung and kidney tumour. A GI tube may also be placed due to not being able to eat and loosing weight.
