Help for brother as he recovers from a stroke.

Donation protected
Update: In 2 weeks I will be going to Jacksonville to pick Marc up so that he can come live with me. Due to his depression and frustration he has declined, progress has come to a halt and his housing arrangement has ended. Unfortunately, I am now amongst the unemployed and can no longer assist with his bills so, as we wait a determination about his disability, he will stay with me. I feel confident that while he is here, he will get to his doctors, therapist as well as the stroke center on a regular basis. We are eternally grateful for all of the prayers and support that we have received!!!
Tania and Marc!

Hi everybody,
My name is Tania Taylor, and my brother is Marc Taylor, some of you know him as Midnight the bouncer/bartender from back in the Button South days.
As some of you may already know, Marc lost his 17 year old business in Fort Lauderdale due to COVID-19. It was at that time that he took a job in Jacksonville and has lived there since late 2020. Unfortunately, he lost that job and housing not long after his arrival. Marc went through a few positions until he took a job with O'Reilly auto parts as a courier and found a room to rent 4 doors down from the store. This was a GOD send as last year Christmas, his transmission went on his very old car and his been sitting ever since. Marc has no accrued PTO to qualify for paid FMLA but, the company did put him on a medical leave to secure his position if/when he can return to an accommodating position. Additionally, Marc has experienced many health conditions in the last few years that include the "widow maker" heart attack, 3 knee surgeries to mention a few. Last week on Wednesday, Marc had a stroke and he remains in the hospital in Jacksonville as I write this. I am located in Dania Beach. The stroke affected his memory, his vision, and his ability to communicate. I am hopeful that after some intense rehab, some of these functions may start to return. As you can imagine, he will be unable to work or drive in the foreseeable future. I am asking on his behalf for donations to help support his monthly bills, transportation, prescription expenses etc…We don’t know yet where Marc will go after rehab but every day I work with the case managers and social workers to develop a plan. I have given what I can over the years but, the well has run dry on my end. Thanks for reading!
