My brother needs help from his community
Donation protected
On Friday, October 2nd, my brother was found unresponsive near Newport Ave. He was walking alone from downtown towards his home, when he was beaten and left to die on the side of the street. He was taken to St Charles where he was unresponsive and placed in the ICU. As there is an open investigation currently happening with our local police department, there is more that he will need from his community as he is unable to work since he has a concussion and may be suffering from memory loss. As a community organizer, I am asking that if you could share this so we can be aware that this was in fact a hate crime and not a random act of violence. He will have a long recovery not only to his body, but to his mental health, and spirit as well. If you have it in your heart to give what you can, my family and I would appreciate your generosity. We only pray that he will heal well and with time, gain the confidence to be himself so he can be the best father he can be to his son. Thank you for taking your time to share my brother's fundraising efforts.
