My financial Story

Hi my name is Katrina and I am in a tough spot. Currently, I can’t afford an apartment and when I am lucky friends let me sleep on their couch. I was having trouble holding a job because I didn’t have a car. I thought I got lucky when I went to a dealership and they said they could get financing for me. They rushed thru things---I didn’t stop them to make sure I could afford all the payments because I trusted the salesman. When he said sign here, sign here, sign here I didn’t pay close attention because I was excited to get a used car to get me to work. After the car signing I got my first monthly bill from the finance company. Its 484 dollars---about the same as my paycheck. And the insurance is 425 dollars---between the two, its what I make each month. I called the dealer and the finance company and they wouldn’t take the car back. Finally they repossessed it and I am still getting bills for the money they say I owe them, If I couldn’t make a car payment how can I pay the $3,000 dollars the finance company wants before they turn me over to a collection agency and start seizing my paycheck. I am desperate for help. Its my mistake for trusting the salesman---but if I could get the money to pay off the finance company I can get back on my feet and try to find a place to live.
