My cousin Jas needs help!!
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Kelsey and I have created a gofundme for my cousin. She was in an accident the car was not covered under a good ICBC insurance plan. It is totalled. She was also taken away in ambulance to Salmonarm to receive medical help. All money will go towards missed work and a new vehicle. She works as a dairy farmer and needs the vehicle to get to and from work which she will be away from for a while.
Here is her story she sent me.
“Some days things will change in the blink of your eyes.
I had blacked out for I don’t know how long but I was sure surprised when I had regained consciousness to find around 10 people helping when I had got into an accident today.
Don’t take things for granted it can be taken away in a heartbeat.
Thank you everyone for your support and concern I’m going to be ok, just some major bruising and some second degree burns and a concussion from the accident. From what we have found out from the hospital today has been very difficult and stressful.
From what I can remember I woke up and I was hanging in my car. I believe I fainted and cannot recall the accident right now.”
To add:
Drugs and alcohol were not involved in this accident. She is straight edge and is worried to miss work and all of her cow buds she loves so much and her boss and work family in general. We’re hoping for a quick recovery but in the mean time I have set the donations to about 2k to cover her expenses but would love for her to receive more and see this blow up on the internet so she can get a new vehicle and pay for her car to be registered and insured. If there is anyone who can help with a killer deal on a manual car that doesn’t need work (she tries to be a mechanic but it’s not her field and it is hard to help from Calgary Alberta…)
Please share this to as many people as you can. However far and wide we can get this will help my cousin immensely and help the rest of us know we have some sort of way to get her the help she needs.
She is located in British Columbia and I in Alberta if anyone is wishing to help and reach out in other ways.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, we are extremely worried. She is laid up in bed but that farm calls her soul.
