My dad, Foster Fruge, with monthly bills.

As most of you may know, my dad, Foster Fruge’, was diagnosed with Chronic Lymphatic Leukemia in April of 2020. He lived fairly healthy after his diagnosis for about 2 years and was still able to work. Over the course of the last 6 months or so, his health has been taking a hit. In November, bloodwork showed that his Leukemia was no longer in stasis and they decided to start him on daily doses of Chemo. From there, the devil has been trying to take him down. Since November, he has been hospitalized twice with borderline Renal Failure, then COVID/Pneumonia, and he’s had more ER visits in the last 2 months than I’ve had my entire life.
When he started Chemo, his Dr’s agreed that he should no longer work, and he should file for his disability. This is where the financial problem begins. He filed for his disability, something he has been working towards for 43 years, and they are running him through the wringer to get it!
43 years ago my dad started driving trucks with IE Miller, and has since worked for various other companies and met people along the way that he would now consider family. The man never met a stranger!
My dad has always gone the extra mile for anyone in need, even when my siblings and I may have felt they didn’t deserve it, but he always taught us that even if someone doesn’t deserve it, God will bless you for blessing them. He has never asked for anything in return, and never worried about those he’s helped paying him back.
He has always been the provider and the protector for his ENTIRE family, and his faith in God has never wavered through the countless trials he has endured these last few months.
So now it’s our turn. At the end of the day he still has to live, and he still has bills to pay, and right now not a single dollar is coming in. My siblings and I help as much as we can, but now I’m asking for help from the rest of his family. Whether you are blood family, or the family he has gained over the period of his life, family is family. Any and everything is greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
