My Dad Jimmy Yee's Funeral Costs

Hello everyone,

My dad recently passed on June 4th, 2022, a few weeks before his 54th birthday. This was after a nearly two-year battle with stage 4 pancreatic neuroendocrine cancer. As a first-generation college student, my dad's biggest dream was to see me attend and graduate college. After he attended my graduation ceremony, he passed away two weeks later.

While we knew this day would come, his doctors and our family did not expect him to pass this soon, so we were all caught by surprise. At one point, he responded really well to chemotherapy and was even able to return to work for all of 2021. However, his cancer suddenly took a turn for the worse in January of 2022 and we lost a significant source of income. Our biggest priority right now is to raise money for my dad's funeral and burial, which he requested to be done in accordance with Chinese customs. If there is any money left over, we will be using that towards paying off my dad's medical debts and to help my family get through this difficult time.

My dad's funeral will be on June 26th, 2022 at Nu'uanu Memorial Park & Mortuary. Visitation will be from 9:00 am to 11:00 am.
