My Dad Who has Stage 4 Colon Cancer

Hi, my name is Josh, I am raising money for my parents. My father recently has been diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. My father had been suffering from medical issues for a while and many trips to the ER, unaware of what the problems were. After seeing his doctor as well as a gastrologist he was scheduled for an "emergency colonoscopy" with almost a 2-month wait. He was told, "it probably wasn't cancer because he had a colonoscopy in 2021". After about a month my father was dealing with many more complications and pains, so he ended up going back to his doctor and asked him for a referral elsewhere, where he received care much sooner. After having a colonoscopy he was scheduled for surgery a couple of days later. He spent 2 weeks in the hospital where he was eventually diagnosed. Due to his original colonoscopy being scheduled months away, the cancer had already spread to multiple parts of his body, such as his lungs, liver, and most recently his bones. If he waited until his original "emergency colonoscopy" his tumor would have grown so big that his colon would've exploded and he would've died. While waiting for his "emergency colonoscopy" he was working while in constant pain and hasn't been able to work and help support his family since about the middle of April. This has caused medical and personal bills to pile up. While he is on short-term disability it hasn't helped much, he had FMLA but used it late last year on a different surgery. Due to using that already he is at risk of losing his job permanently if he isn't able to return soon. Being on chemo we are hoping that it helps kill the cancer and stop its spread. The funds raised will go to help with bills for my parents.
