My Dad Andy Luna's Tragic Covid Death

It is truly difficult to announce the sudden loss of my loving father Andrew Luna. It all started when he tested positive for Covid Oct. 21st. At first, it seemed as if he was recovering but then it all changed. He started having complications breathing and his oxygen levels started dropping. He was then admitted to the hospital and he started to decline even more. He did not respond well to the various treatments. As his condition worsened, he was moved to the ICU where he was sedated and put on a ventilator. He eventually started to form blood clots all around his body which led to irreversible damage. It was heartbreaking hearing the doctors say there was nothing they could do for him anymore. After a long struggle of fighting for his life from this horrible virus, he passed on November 22, 2020.
My father, Andrew Luna had a lot of dear friends and family who loved him. He had a contagious positive energy. He was always a person that loved all the beauty life had to offer and was often seen as the life of the party. He had a special comforting way of making everyone feel included and heard. It hurts to think he is no longer with us and has been taken so suddenly. You never realize how fragile life really is until you lose a loved one. It is so easy to take life for granted and think you have forever with someone, until they are gone. It hurts knowing I lost my Dad and that he will miss so much that I wish he could have been a part of.
I am so heartbroken by his passing. He was so young and had so much more life left. With this sudden tragedy, we've had little time to prepare and have been put in a situation where we are left in a difficult financial position paying for the funeral and memorial services. The reason we are asking for help is that Martin Funeral Service has made it so difficult in an already hard time and will not accept my father's work insurance as a payment guarantee. I am creating this because I know that my dad loved so many of you all and am hopeful you would be willing to donate to help with the funeral services that would help us pay our respect in honor of his life. As his only daughter, I want to give my father a beautiful service and want to lay him to rest so he can finally be in eternal peace.
