My Daddy is asking for your help, guys

Guys? As many of you already know, about a year ago, my Daddy started a GoFundMe account. It was set up to help offset the costs of numerous breakdowns and downtime as a result of our semi truck, known as The Big Red Dog Haus, being in the shop for repairs…

Added to the, the rising cost of fuel and a reduction of freight rates, what Daddy is paid for transporting goods going down, sent us into a financial tailspin.

All of you, our friends, family and fans across the world stepped up and helped us last summer to financially stay solvent…

Earlier this year, we hit some more breakdown issues both with The Big Red Dog Haus and our personal vehicle, The Little Red Dog Haus (our Chevy Suburban) which once again, everyone of you stepped up to help again…

Because of all your support, Daddy was, although still somewhat behind in building the maintenance escrow back up needed and required by the company The Big Red Dog Haus is leased through, (Gulick Trucking of Vancouver, Washington) he felt that this summer would be when everything would finally turn around for us, that there would be light at the end of the tunnel with all of it and by the first part of August, the time when the lease is scheduled to be up and The Big Red Dog Haus would be paid off and Daddy would have the title for it after four and a half long years, the inevitable happened one more time…

This time, it wasn’t just the repair job and cost of parts associated with it, but the downtime that has happened, waiting several weeks just for parts to arrive and then being delayed more when the shop working on The Big Red Dog Haus had their computer systems (along with several thousand other truck and auto dealerships nationwide) hacked into this week where the shop the work was being done at couldn’t release The Big Red Dog Haus to Daddy as they couldn’t even generate an invoice for repairs…

At the last minute, they were finally able to figure a way to do so manually, but now this has all cost Daddy precious time financially once again….

The GoFundMe page has remained up since the end of July, 2023 and has been updated along the way for a goal of $40,000…

Over the last year, with your guy’s generosity, support and help, there has been $30,000 raised that has already gone to prior breakdowns, repairs and downtime…

Now Daddy and I are looking for help in raising $10,000 more, to cover the time lost for our most recent breakdown.

Daddy knows that this is a lot to ask for, as he understands that there are many others out there that are struggling financially themselves. That’s why he feels humbled by all of this, as he’s already felt humbled and grateful for the help and support over the last 11 months…

Daddy and I are just under two months away from having The Big Red Dog Haus paid off, and from there, we’ll be able to reassess what our ultimate future will be with all of this.

Our ultimate goal is to someday be away from trucking itself and to be able to explore the world in a different way, seeing places and exploring sights that we can’t do now transporting freight across the country from one port or dock or warehouse to another…

It won’t be able to happen for Daddy and I without having The Big Red Dog Haus paid off and officially ours…
