My dad's (Joe Mary's) funeral
Donation protected
Hello everyone. I hate doing this but i really need some help. My lovely, beautiful dad passed last week, only 57 years old, but peacfully in his sleep. It was a massive shock but also nice to no he was no longer in pain or sadness.
As the oldest I'm next of kin and need to try and raise money to pay for everything, the funeral, wake and getting us all to shetland and home again.
Normally this wouldn't be so hard, but as some of you know when my dad passed i was in Birmingham already with my partner, as his son had only a week before been flown down for an emergency liver transplant, and immediately before that i was off work with my wee one and then myself because of catching covid. I havent been able to work in weeks, and feel so stressed and such a sence of responsibility to make my dad proud of me one last time. Any tiny amount will help us so so much. I really want to make my dad proud and give him a special day that my sisters amd myself can feel like he would love. Again i hate doing this, i hate the whole situation, but any tiny amount you can spare will really just absolutely mean the entire world to us.
Any extra money raised will be donated to SAS (sexual abuse survivors) which meant a lot to our dad.
Funeral will be held at St Margaret's R. C. Church at 2pm on Monday the 18th of April.
