Help my dear friend Anthony with rehabilitation

On the night of September 29th, during the lunar eclipse, Anthony Velarde (54), professional artist, musician and family man, experienced a sudden and debilitating stroke. His right side became paralyzed, leaving him unable to perform even the simplest of tasks. This stroke, which affected his right motor skills, was discovered through an MRI, revealing a deep impact to his left brain. It was a shocking revelation, as just a year ago, he also experienced a stroke in his left eye, discovered during a routine check-up.

Along with his family, Kitana (13) Neo (10), and his wife, Carmela, they recently started a new chapter in their lives by moving to Austin and purchased a new home. They did this within a month to ensure the kids could settle in before the start of school. However, they are now confronted with an increased rehabilitation cost and in-patient care for at least one month, along with the need for specialized equipment and home modifications. These additional expenses come on top of their existing health insurance coverage, creating a significant strain for the family.
